Sarah Shahi was an American actress who was the main character on Life, a television show. Shahi is a child of immigrants, raised by an Iranian father and her Spanish mother living in Los Angeles, has benefitted of her diverse heritage. Shahi always had the dream of being an actor from the time she was a child. When she was in her mid-80s her modeling career began and she went on to the next level. She was involved in lots of drama at school and during college. Sarah began her film and TV career modestly. She was featured in a variety of guest roles in various television series and films before landing a role as the lead in a television sitcom. She was also ranked number fifth on AfterEllen.com top list of 2007. Sarah Shahi is a lover for sport and was an NFL cheerleader. Prior to her transition into acting, Sarah Shahi worked in the NFL. She has a brown-belt in Karate.
