Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is famous for his unique way of singing. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April in 1990 to an German as well as an English Scottish family. In his early years Baker, he spent a good amount of time travelling with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave the family when Baker was only 9 years old. Baker and his father relocated to Denver and lived at the house of his father's Aunt. Baker experienced bullying from youngsters in his community because of his poor living conditions. In sixth grade, Baker began to listen to hip-hop. Colson Baker, a.k.a in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22, 1990. His compositions are known as a blend of modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper became a star following his transition from self-releasing his mixtapes, to signing with well-known record labels. His career skyrocketed as each of his albums charted inside the top 10.
